Beeble Inc. is co-founded by four KAIST graduates (Hoon, Minje, Wonjun, and Jisoo).
Fact 1. We are AI experts. We all have 5+ years of experience in AI research. We have published 14 papers, including top-tier AI conferences such as NeurIPS, ICLR, ICML, AAAI, and CVPR. Visit our publication page.
Fact 2. We are professional makers. We have created multiple AI-powered products that work in the real world and are used by many people, from cancer detection systems to speech synthesis systems.
Fact 3. We have great teamwork. Hoon, Minje, and Jisoo are long-time friends and have known each other for 10 years since KAIST freshmen. Wonjun joined the group 4 years ago and has worked together ever since.
Hoon is the CEO of Beeble. After studying at KAIST, He was accepted into the Oxford Ph.D. program, but declined to enter the startup front. He started his career at a medical AI startup Lunit as a research scientist, working on the most challenging ML problems to conquer cancer through AI. Lunit is now listed on the KOSDAQ with a value of $0.5 billion.
Later he moved to Krafton (known for PUBG) where he learned how to launch and iterate on great ML products. He led a team of 9 ML engineers that built the most expressive speech synthesis AI in the market. He was also heavily involved in the final product design.
With his unique combination of strong research background and product launch experience, Hoon started his startup to revolutionize content creation experience through AI.
Minje leads the research part of Beeble Inc. Previously, his research was aimed at solving ranking problems: he applied information theory to find the theoretical minimum data size needed to solve ranking problems [link]. He also developed a ranking algorithm using neural networks that works in a variety of domains [link].
He also has 3+ years of hands-on experience in ML field. At Lunit, he was devoted to predicting anticancer drug responses [link]. At Krafton, he was one of early members who designed an audio drama creation platform (now called Beluga), powered by AI-based speech synthesis models.

Wonjun leads the development part of Beeble Inc. He has solved challenging ML problems requiring robust software engineerings, such as robot control [link] and computer vision tasks with large-scale inputs: nodule detection from chest CT [link] and a gigapixel tissue-slide image classification at Lunit. He also worked in various fields, including domain adaptation [link] and expressive speech synthesis at Krafton.
Before diving into the ML field, he worked as a full-stack engineer to develop mobile applications and had a chance to build his service at Strong Ventures. With his diverse domain experience and solid engineering skills, he is devoted to making Beeble’s AI technology more scalable.
